- "I, Vampire", Genius Jones, ghost pirate ships, Nazi gorillas, and Anthro encased in ice ... all in the same story.
- Some CSI detectives finally noticed something odd about how one of the Spectre's victims died.
- the Pre-Socractics portrayed as a sort of Secret Society of Super Philosophers.
- Alexander the Great demonstrating the Aristotelean causes by giving someone a hotfoot.
- Evil Skeets' explanation of what he is actually constructed out of; yeesh, that's creepy!
- the fact that Metropolis still looks really beautiful with its spine snapped in half.
- thank you, Mad Monk; now THAT is a deathtrap!
- The Question's archenemy turns out to be... himself.
- I really like Miss Martian (about 10,000 times more than that other special guest star).
- At last, Batwoman will return next week!

What the heck comic was that first one?!
The Dr. 13 back up story in "Tales of the Unexpected".
The other special guest star being Joey "most rubbish teen titan ever" Slade right?
I! WAS! DEAD!
I keep reading that panel with Paul Frees playing Bennett, and it keeps cracking me up every time.
Yes, evil Skeets is turning out to be a lot of fun. But he's not REALLY evil...just lonely for Booster.
That evil Skeets stuff was crazy. There was a lot of good in 52 this week.
I was thrilled with how Mad Monk left off. I handed it to the closest person to me, pointed to the last panel, and said "Now THAT is a proper cliffhanger!"
That scene with Evil Skeets made me cackle maniacally in appreciation, which in turn earned me odd looks from my roommates . . . which were pretty close to the same odd looks they give me when I'm laughing hysterically at one of Gail Simone's books.
You read Action Philosophers this week? I thought you weren't allowed to read anything that didn't sport a DC logo.
So confused...
Skeets is solaris from the dc 1 million timeline....there have been multiple reffrences to dc 1 million solaris was suppost come from around this time line so mabye skeets is solaris
All seriousness aside, this feature of your blog, and also the earlier series about why I should be reading Manhunter, these are good stuff. Thanks to you I am reading Manhunter now, and if this keeps up I'll be reading 52 pretty soon, too. You've been wearing away my budgetary resistance, one tantalizing hint at a time. So thank you, I think.
To my mind every person ought to browse on it.
