The Return of Professor Radium

He's a lean, mean, green, poisoning machine. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for...

PROFESSOR RADIUM

You can't tell from the picture, but the green paint on Prof. R is phosphorescent, meaning he glows slightly in natural light and glows a LOT in black light. Heroclix is best played under black light, I think.

Professor Radium is a fan fave here at the Absorbascon, and so did suprisingly well in the Heroclix Custom Poll.

Not so lucky was ...

AMOS FORTUNE

Poor Amos Fortune. For a guy whose power is luck, he never seems to get a break, whether he's getting his face melted off by Plasmus, falling out a plane, or being written by Steve Englehart. He even took last place in our poll. But that's okay, Pudge; we love ya like we love Charlie Brown.

Perhaps it is a silly question, but I can't quite tell from the Clix site...can Horrorclix and Heroclix be played with each other? Or are they two seperate games?

Hmm. I wonder how Amos got saved from that plane?

The different flavors of Heroclix -- DC, Marvel, and Indie -- can be played with one another. The different types of clixgames -- Mechwarrior, Horrorclix, Heroclix, Mage Knight -- cannot be played with one another.

That said, I have seen at least one attempt to create a "conversion chart" that would allow the abilities of the Horrorclix figures to be translated into Heroclix abilities, so as to allow Horrorclix figures to be used in a Heroclix game.

"I wonder how Amos got saved from that plane?"

Just lucky, I guess.

It might be fun to improvise a Giant Radioactive Scorpion Clix in a game.

When you've got the blacklight cranked up, just take a $10 Emperor Scorpion (purchased at, say, Petco) and drop it on the game board. The scorpion, normally black, will glow green under the blacklight.

Sounds like fun, except I don't want to see my dog kill a scorpion ... or vice versa.

Anyone got pictures of Plasmus melting Amos' face off?

Scipio, no more dissing the Great Englehart, or your next custom Clix will be filled with C4.

Hm. Then I suppose my next custom clix should be either Damage or the Human Bomb...

Thanks Scip! That's too bad that they don't intersect, I have been dreaming of a Chthulu vs. Spectre battle since I'd heard of Horrorclix...perhaps the conversion chart will be available in time for Halloween.

Scorpion on the game board? Sounds like fun, especially if Samuel L. Jackson is playing.

"There's {BLEEP} scorpions on this {BLEEP} board!!"
