What are all the DC characters based on traditional games?
You have Dr. Domino. Checkmate is based on chess pieces. The Royal Flush Gang and the Joker are based on playing cards. There must be many more, but none are coming to mind right now.
Thugs tied to the ouvre of a specific villain! It's so brilliant, so obvious, how come no one has thought of it before?
Actually, Dale and I thought of it quite some time ago; he makes me "goonclix" when time allows. I already have "the Interrogative Gang" (Mr. Hu, Mr. Watt, Mr. Venn, Mr. Ware, Mr. Howe, & Dr. Wye)to assist the Riddler.
What are all the DC characters based on traditional games?
Another short-lived Bat-villain was Mr. Roulette; and the Golden-Age Superman had an enemy called the Puzzler (he once murdered champion card players in methods inspired by their particular games; beat the poker champ to death with a fireplace poker, etc).
You know, it's Dr. Domino's BELT that impresses me most.
Oh, and "Checkmate" was a one-time game-themed villain, who was only seen in flashback, planning a series of posthumous deathtraps for Batman, for whom he blamed his fatal radiation poisoning.

And wait til you see the gang that will be included with your next shipment!

Oooohhhh, Domino...
God, I'm old.
I reread Dr. Domino's first appearance just a month or so back when I was digging through one of my comic boxes.
Excellent.
Mark "Puff" Anderson

That's absolutely beautiful. Just breathtaking.
My empathetic joy for you is overwhelming.
hehehe - I like how the thugs are helpfully identified by the number of pips...

That might actually be the single greatest image in the universe.

Does the "Mr. Ware" goon actually look like Chris Ware? Because I think that would be AWRRSOME.
" That might actually be the single greatest image in the universe."
Now I need a toy battleship and a tiny little wicker chair...
And a rocket to tie the Wonder Woman clix to ....
Awe-inspiring. That's all that I can say.

Only beauty can come from these ideas.
Only beauty.

One- Ready to rock!
Two- Jaw clenched, muscles ripp'ling!
Three - dude looks jaundiced.
Jaundiced? He is not!
He is supposed to be of
Asian extraction.
(How's that for Haikusday?)

Dr. Domino
Tried his best to hide from all,
But he was spotted.
You know what's really impressive?
It's the subtlety:
Pip One is Rookie.
Pip Two is Experienced.
Pip Three is Veteran.
Nice.
How awesome would it be if Dr. Domino teamed up with Killer Moth? Outrageous!
