Pep 15: Jungle Theater
"I'm so lucky; me, a half-naked jungle savage on a date with Fantomah! She looks just like a supermodel...
While we're here at the Jungle Theater, waiting for the show to start, I'll get her something at the concessions stand. I wonder what's good...?
Delicious! Roast Blonde cooked over a Sergeant Boyle brand "War!" grill (model no. 00XX!!#!). No Jungle Woman can resist it! Let me catch the attendant's eye...
What th--?! Flag-costumed American interlopers!? Let my date go, you carrot-topped moppet! Ohh... reeling from-- Yankee underarm smell. Damn you, imperialist pigs! Must -- get help...
Security! Shoot him in the head, quickly! NO! NO, NOT ME, YOU IMBECILE, NOT M--"

Hmmmph. If you're going to have Roast Blonde, you'd think they'd take her clothes off first. Nobody likes to pick buttons and fabric out of their teeth.
Oh, and butter. Lots and lots of butter.
Sally, it's just like a baked potato; needs to be wrapped.
I am really enjoying these PEP covers! And your commentary is hilarious!
Hopefully, the next PEP cover will feature Jungle Savage standing below Fantomah's window, holding a boom-box over his head...
Wouldn't be a boom-box; maybe a pair of tom-toms with a little monkey hammering on them.
Haw! If ONLY that had been the story, huh...?
I'm thinkin' Dusty may have over-starched his cape just a tad.
Calling Dr. Totaltoyz: I must have a Fantomah conversion!
Somehow I had a feeling you'd be requesting one, Steve! It'd go great with your Green Giant and American Crusader customs, wouldn't it?
Put her on a Rookie Megan dial (53 points) from Sinister. Well, after you finish Scourge: Greatest Hits, that is.
Has Scipio ordered a Shield conversion from you yet?
Is there implied cursing on the right side caption of the cover? "War! Sergeant Boyle! @xx!!#!!"
That seems oddly incongruous...
Utterly mystifying, isn't it, Roel?
Has Scipio ordered a Shield conversion from you yet?
No, not yet; and I'm hoping he does! I have a great design idea in mind (based on one of his blog posts, actually)!
I find it mystifying that "Dusty the Boy Detective" has apparently gained top billing over the Shield...
Wait a second... Could Dusty the Boy Detective really be... The Insidious Archie Andrews?!
In my opinion everybody should browse on this.
