Flurry
Leap/Climb
Of course it's a meteor;
welcome to Apex City.
Phasing
I think J'onn lays awake at night, coming up with weird things to do with his powers.
Charge
I have got to use that line the next time I push someone aside on the dance floor!
Elasticity
Because it's not like he could, you know, phase through the wall or anything.
Telekinesis
Mostly, J'onn seems to use this power on clothes.
And baseballs.
Pulse Wave
Superstrength
Incapacitate
"Sonic vibrations" is the Martian euphemism for flatulence.
Psychic Blast
Destroying hurtling boulders with your mind counts as Psychic Blast in my book.
Smoke Cloud
This, and any other, attack power could just be listed on his character card as Martian Finger Snapping, since it can pretty much do anything.
Regeneration
Even for J'onn, that's ridiculous.
Imperviousness
and Invulnerability
Now THAT is exposition.
Supersenses
Or it could just be martini time at the Apex Bar.
Defend
"Why am I wasting my turns defending pogs from Batman Ally attacks? Why did I decide to explode a mine with my butt? What's it all mean?"
Combat Reflexes
Anybody else would just dodge, but J'onn J'onnz has to do something both weird and snide, using one of his hapax phenomenon powers to trick some guy into jumping out a window.
Deflection
J'onn really is rather showy, isn't he?
Perplex
Fisk? Must be a mixed-universe game.
Ranged Combat Expert
If you can shatter a tank by snapping your fingers without shattering the people between you and tank, I think you deserve Ranged Combat Expert.
Shape Change
You'd be surprised how often he says that.

Now we know what Silver Age JLAer let that annoying Carr kid hang around. I'll bet J'onn was training him as a sidekick.
Oh J'onn. How on earth is poor Apex City coping without you?
Great post, Scipio. I especially loved that the Super Strength entry needed no editorial comment, asside from what the officer said.
So really, with all those powers, the Martian Manhunter should be worth about 600 points in HeroClix terms.
Hey, J'onn's pretty versatile for a dead guy!
But can the Martian Manhunter heal his teammates through use of the "Support" power? I think not.
I presume Apex City has been obliterated by meteors at this point. Nothing but a smoking crater.
Actually, Doc, I'm in the middle of a Green Lantern "Foes vs. Friends" game right now, where I'm counting on you to do exactly that.
Too late for Hector Hammond, though...
If they'd killed J'onn off in the sixties, they'd bring him back with a throwaway thought balloon: "However, using my Martian ability to rise from the dead, I ..."
Wonderful piece, must have taken ages to sort it. MM really was the most powerful person in the DCU.
But what about his super-ability to make his brow grow massive?
Bah, Hector deserves it. Why wasn't *I* shoehorned into Jordan's "Secret Origin" arc? Damn that Geoff Johns!
No Hypersonic Speed, Running Shot, Probability Control, or Outwit? Without those, J'onn will never see the board.
