Oh ... my. So many questions. Are his pants and cape shiny, so as to reflect a crowd he's standing in front of? Did he silkscreen faces on his duds, and, if so, to what end? And whose faces made the cut? Are his pants and cape inhabited by spirits, like Ragman's rags or Katana's sword? If so, why are they there? Are they trapped? They look like they're having a good time. Maybe they've chosen to be part of Superman's ensemble? Are the people on his pants chosen to be there? What is the criteria separating the pants crowd from the cape crowd?
Is...the Daily Planet building...flanking his genitals? Oh, I get it, his new armor has been forged from the spiritual remains from a destroyed Metropolis, of course! Like some sort of Phantom Zone/Kandor thing.
Or he's turning invisible, and they're behind him. Or it's just an ill-advised idea for a cover...
That's... that's terrifying! And hilarious.

ReplyDeleteI'm so confused. And uncomfortable.
This is actually a lesser known Martian Manhunter power.
