Suddenly, I'm looking forward to the new "Arkham Asylum" Heroclix set very much...!
A Batman who sits hidden on the edge of a roof (From Among...) eying a foe, cancels the foe's defensive ability (Outwit), increases his own damage (perplex), throws down a free Smoke Cloud beside the enemy (Dark Knight), then charges to attack him (From Among) under cover of the smoke cloud... all in one turn?!?!?
It's a dream (or nightmare) come true!
More interested in a Crispus Allen Spectre, to be honest. 101 points for what I'm assuming is a slightly less powerful version of the Crisis Spectre sounds awesome to me. We know he has Impervious and what seems like some kind of super outwit, so I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I assume, this Spectre will have "Gotham City" keyword, which means he's good to go on a team with Batman & Co.!
ReplyDeleteWhy not a Zurr-En-Arrh Batman or the whole RIP set?
ReplyDeleteIf for no other reason than that sets are made further in advance of stories being written. There are other reasons, of course, such as the ephemerality of the relevance of such a figure.
ReplyDeleteSlightly off topic (but not so much). I picked up both the Sinestro Corps Anti-Monitor *and* Azbats Heroclix at Gen Con this past week
ReplyDeleteme wanty me wanty now
ReplyDeletePretty sure he can't outwit and perplex himself on the same turn. Y'know. Just maybe.
ReplyDeleteSh! Don't spoil the fantasy, Andrew!
ReplyDelete(He also probably doesn't have both special powers at the same time either...)
Scip! I finally learned how to play Heroclix over the summer! I'll check the Big Monkey schedule and see if I can get up there for a game weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, excellent, Ariel!
ReplyDeleteWhatever weekend you show up, we can make a game happen, chieff.
Awesome: bear in mind, I still kind of suck at it.
ReplyDelete(Insert innuendo here.) ;)
