Hi-YAH, platter-fans!
Remember, as the "program director" at Big Monkey Radio, I'm always looking for new comic book related music.
If your neighbor's garage band has a superhero related song, send me an MP3 of it and maybe I can put in Big Monkey Radio.
Local DC band The Franchise did, and now BMR plays their songs, "Rohrshach" and "I Want to Be Your Superhero", every day...
I'm assuming you already have "March of the Sinister Ducks."
ReplyDeleteYou need to have Four Color Love Story by The Metasciences. Warren Ellis says so.
ReplyDeleteGrab it from http://www.kibblesmith.com/metasciences/mp3s.html
You're right, Marionette, thank you; I do need that.
ReplyDeleteThere aren't a lot of songs that actually refer to Sue Dibny.
"Arthur Curry" and "Super Powers" by Ookla the Mok:

"Arthur Curry" is already on the playlight; thanks for the other!
ReplyDeleteThe Mummies have a song called "Planet of the Apes." They are THE garage band so their recorded sound is, um, poor. Still, who can resist a chorus of "you must fight to live/ on the planet of the apes."
ReplyDeleteAlso, The Make Up have a song "Pow, to the people" with a chorus of "Biff, Bam, Pow, Altogether now!"
My band Classic Tragic Hero has a song inspired by IC called "Crisis". You can get it at the myspace. It's on the album Journey which you can download in the right hand column.
ReplyDeleteGosh, there's a great deal of useful material above!
