Absorbascomments requested!

Pardon my neediness, but...

According to stats, about 300 people visit us here at the Absorbascon every day. Yet we don't get too many comments. I understand; I myself usually don't make a comment every time I visit a blog. But today I feel the need for a little evidence other than just a graph that people actually visit here of their own free will *sniff* *sob*. Like Killer Moth, I want some tangible evidence of (mild) success to put in my (empty) Hall of Trophies.

So, if you've got a moment, make a comment in a recent post. Disagree with me or call me a Thanagarian trogolodyte or blame me for dividing the blogoverse over the Necessary Police Action on Rann. Evaluate the tracks playing on SuperHero Radio. Tell me which Absorbascon feature is your favorite, what you want a poll on, what your blog focuses on, and which thing you may have learned or discovered from here was the most fun or interesting.

The Absorbascon...because Thanagar cares.

  1. If Absorbascon are brabarians, then I guess I'm a brabarian too. Birds have wings but fish have fins and birds eat fish for breakfast, bring it on Rannie scum!

  2. I've always done my best to comment as much as possible, in spite of your naive support of a certain fascist winged dictatorship.

As for Superhero Radio, on the whole it's a nice mix, but why does almost every pop song about Superman suck ass? If I hear that stupid Five for Fighting song one more time, I'll start killing people. On the other hand, I'll be eternally thankful to you for introducing me to Ookla the Mok. "Stop Talking About Comic Books or I'll Kill You" is now one of my favorite songs ever. I also really love all the music associated with the 60's Batman show.

  3. Also, Blue Harvest's Green Lantern rocks, even though they pronounce "Kyle Rayner" to rhyme with "fear," which should be a criminal offense.

  4. "The Absorbascon...because Thanagar cares."

    I think you misspelled "cries."

  5. "Brabarians for Thanagar" Now there's a t-shirt slogan that would draw some blank stares.

  7. We do not comment because we are either stunned by your immaculate wisdom (on any subject except the Thanagar-Rann war) or your craven, boneheaded stupidity (the Thanagar police action).

  8. Here's a comment - Thanagar rules! They're people of action!

Rann - I mean, come on. Anyone in their right mind would take Thanagar over Rann.

  9. Hey, first time visitor, but I think Mr. Jerkwater had a point. Didn't Rann need Adam Strange as breeding stock because they were sterile? And he's been there how many years, and only has one kid? (The spacesuit might be a little snug in the crotch!) So, fight for Rann and be a planetwide hero and sex god. Or, fight for Thanagar and get reincarnated and killed, a lot. Hmm.
    Thanks,
    Chuck T.

  13. You're welcome! Don't you wish they do one entry of that type every day? So many stupid costumes, so little time..

  14. I rarely comment because of being weird like that. Also I'm a LiveJournal girl, Blogger is Teh Enemy. But you asked.

What to comment about ---? Superhero Radio. Seriously, it's the best thing EVER. It's the new soundtrack to my life. I can't believe how much I love those cheesy schkumpy hero songs. I'm so far incapable of paying for anything online, but as soon as that changes Superhero Radio is right up there with breast cancer as far as worthy causes go.
