Are YOU a Superman of America?

Today I ran 9 miles, am throwing a Christmas party for 50 people, running a Dramatic Reading contest, then going two-stepping with Ken and company till all hours. Then tomorrow, I'll go to yoga class and jog for 30 minutes before emceeing an outdoor caroling performance at the town square, followed by dinner and game night with the boys.

Why?

Because Superman told me to...
What are YOU going to do this weekend?

  1. Today we had my son's sixth birthday party and I played host to 25 kids, average age six, all on sugar highs. This evening I played with my son with all his new birthday toys (including some really difficult-to-assemble Batman Legos). Tomorrow, after meeting for worship, I'm taking the kids to visit their recently-widowed grandfather.

  2. Uh...make cookies, and possibly move furniture. All the excitement that I can stand!

  3. A lovely Christmas party at a friend's in park slope, with a German beer and food theme (he's a chef). We also did a "white elephant" gift and I wound up getting some nice cheap wine. But I wish married women would mention that they're spoken for before they engage me in a half-hour conversation; when I may have preferred to chat with the cute single girl who wound up going home with some other guy...

Today is just to recoup and enjoy the Survivor finale' tonight- before the next hectic exams week begins at the school I work at.

Thanks for asking, Scipio. :) And have fun with your events. Your calendar may be overflowing, but it's all good stuff.

  6. How about Supermen of Korea? I came across this display in the Lotte department store in Seoul earlier this month. At first I thought it was a brand, but it turned out to be a display of large-sized suit jackets.
