Pep 16: Sunlamp


Another green-skinned, pointy-eared baddie, with bat-faced monster-minions menacing a helpless broad while Dusty bursts in the window and the Shield saunters in from Stage Right with fist a-ready?

Still. Two things keep this Pep cover from being just another one:

Vampire syringe? Nice. Cheating... but still cool.

    Dean's right; these are Reverse Vampires. It's obvious that they're putting that blood into her neck rather than taking it out.

    I bet these covers have little or nothing to do with the story inside, and are in fact depictions of ether-induced visions of the artist.

    The double-needled syringe is a nice idea. I guess it's rather akin to drinking your milk with a straw.

    They do seem to have a pretty endless supply of helpless ladies.
