All those who say that Waid's run is de "definite" one....they didn't read Bill's, clearly.Gus Casalshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09623081734326460781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11737441.post-1114087904220028842005-04-21T07:51:00.000-05:002005-04-21T07:51:00.000-05:00Well, you could carry the benefit sketchbook TwoMo...Well, you could carry the benefit sketchbook TwoMorrows Publishing is putting out for him...Scipiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16217376618860561999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11737441.post-1114056181047629132005-04-20T23:03:00.000-05:002005-04-20T23:03:00.000-05:00Good, good stuff. I wish I could do more for him than marvel at his past work.Devon Sandershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08223057696498728357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11737441.post-1114017466513149642005-04-20T12:17:00.000-05:002005-04-20T12:17:00.000-05:00I'm glad someone else remembers Messner-Loebs's ru...I'm glad someone else remembers Messner-Loebs's run on the Flash as fondly as I do. The stories were irreverent, and had an easy, sometimes meandering pace to them, which, now that I think about it, is an interesting way to present the fastest man alive.

Waid's stories repeatedly had Wally "finally" come out from under Barry's shadow and "reach his true potential," and every time it happened I'd think, "But Messner-Loebs did that back in issue fifty" (which is still one of my favourite covers and one of my favourite issues).Davinderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14678575599126912471noreply@blogger.com
